Post vacancies for vrachtwagenchauffeur and chauffeur CE roles covering national distribution, container drayage and international trunking into Germany, Belgium and beyond.
For Dutch Employers
Publish your driver vacancies on FastDriver.eu, reach candidates across the Dutch provinces, elsewhere in Europe and in eligible international markets, and manage applications yourself. Where a candidate needs a single permit, the labour market test starts before the application, so plan early.
Direct employer hiring • European and international reach • UWV registration and GVVA guidance
FastDriver.eu connects Dutch hauliers, forwarding companies, port logistics operators, distribution firms, bus companies and parcel networks with drivers looking for work.
Publish a genuine vacancy, state the licence category, describe the routes and the shift pattern, and receive applications directly. Say whether the work is distributie or internationaal, because Dutch drivers treat those as different jobs. Browse current Dutch listings at www.fastdriver.eu/jobs/netherlands.
FastDriver.eu is a specialised driver job portal. It is not a recruitment agency, an uitzendbureau or a temporary employment agency, it does not employ drivers and it does not lease workers.
Your company reviews the applications, interviews the candidates, inspects the original licence and code 95 documents, and signs the employment contract under the applicable collective agreement. The hiring decision stays with you.
Dutch employers recruit across port haulage, national distribution, international trunking and passenger transport. State the licence category, the traffic type and whether the driver sleeps at home.
Post vacancies for vrachtwagenchauffeur and chauffeur CE roles covering national distribution, container drayage and international trunking into Germany, Belgium and beyond.
Advertise distributiechauffeur positions running multi drop work with handling for retail, hospitality and building supply customers, usually on a daily return pattern.
Publish roles for buschauffeur and touringcarchauffeur on regional concession networks, school and target group transport and coach work.
Advertise bezorger, bestelbuschauffeur and koerier positions in parcel networks, grocery delivery and urban logistics across the Randstad.
Reach ADR chauffeur, tankwagenchauffeur, containerchauffeur and exceptional transport drivers for the chemical clusters, fuel distribution and project cargo.
Use a job title only where it genuinely matches the role. Unrelated titles added for traffic produce applications you will only reject.
The Netherlands is divided into twelve provinces. It functions as a gateway for freight moving into the European hinterland, which shapes almost every kind of driver work here.
Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe, and together with Amsterdam and the Zeeland terminals it generates container, bulk and tanker haulage on a very large scale.
Schiphol supports express and air cargo trucking, and the perishables trade around it runs to tight timings.
Dense warehousing along the main motorway corridors serves European distribution centres for retail and e-commerce clients.
Flowers, plants and fresh produce move in temperature controlled vehicles on schedules set by auction and export deadlines rather than by office hours.
Each province has its own transport character. Naming it, and the nearest town, helps candidates judge the commute and the type of work.
Dutch drivers search in Dutch and distinguish sharply between types of work, which is useful if you use the right word.
Vrachtwagenchauffeur is the standard freight term, usually paired with chauffeur CE or rijbewijs C. Chauffeur C signals rigid work rather than articulated.
Distributiechauffeur means multi drop work with handling and a daily return, while internationaal chauffeur means nights away. Choosing the right one filters out most of the mismatched applications by itself.
Passenger roles use buschauffeur and touringcarchauffeur, while delivery work appears as bezorger, bestelbuschauffeur and koerier.
Candidates routinely list code 95, their chauffeurspas and ADR in their profiles, so those belong in the requirements rather than the title.
Publish in Dutch for the domestic market and add English where you are open to candidates from elsewhere in Europe, which is common in port and distribution work.
FastDriver.eu operates as a European driver job portal and allows candidates in other parts of the world to discover and apply for suitable Dutch vacancies.
Dutch employers may receive applications from drivers based in the Netherlands, other EU and EEA countries, Switzerland, the wider European region, Asia, Africa, Gulf countries, North America, Latin America, the Caribbean and other eligible international markets.
EU and EEA citizens and Swiss nationals have free access to the Dutch labour market. Licence and code 95 requirements still apply.
For regular paid employment beyond ninety days the route is the single permit, the GVVA. The IND issues it on the advice of UWV, and a negative advice means the application will be refused. Shorter engagements run on a separate work permit issued by UWV.
Two conditions catch employers out. The labour market test requires the vacancy to have been registered with UWV for the statutory minimum period before you apply, with documented recruitment effort in the Netherlands and the EEA, so the clock starts well before the application. UWV must also be given information about the accommodation the driver will stay in, and it has to be safe and clean. Drivers can check their own position through our driving licence eligibility guidance.
FastDriver.eu can provide process guidance and document coordination when a candidate needs support. It does not make government decisions and cannot promise an approval.
State the licence category in the advert. Dutch candidates filter on it and on the traffic type before reading further.
Freight roles use C and CE, with C1 and C1E for lighter rigid vehicles. Passenger transport uses D and D1, with DE and D1E where a trailer is drawn. Delivery work sits in category B.
Professional drivers in the C and D categories need code 95, obtained through initial qualification and maintained by periodic training every five years. Ask for the expiry date at interview, since a lapsed code 95 stops a driver working even where the licence is valid.
A digital tachograph driver card is required for in scope work and ADR training for dangerous goods. Passenger transport roles usually also involve a separate driver pass issued for the concession.
Where a third country national drives for a Dutch operator on international journeys within the Union, a driver attestation may also be needed.
Experience requirements are set by operators. Container drayage looks for terminal familiarity, distribution for handling and customer contact, horticulture for reliability against export deadlines. FastDriver.eu can present candidate information, but verifying original documents remains the employer's responsibility.
Publish driver vacancies in Dutch or English with the licence category, traffic type and shift pattern set out clearly.
Raise the visibility of roles that are slow to fill, including night distribution and specialist work.
Applications reach your team directly, with no uitzendbureau between you and the driver.
Support in reaching drivers who match your licence and route requirements, without any promise of a specific candidate.
Guidance on the single permit route, the UWV registration period and the documents the application involves.
Coordination of travel, arrival, municipal registration and accommodation steps when an international candidate is hired.
Employer options can be arranged around single vacancies, seasonal peaks or larger recruitment rounds, and are agreed separately with your company.
Precise adverts fill faster, and where a permit may follow, an early and well documented vacancy also supports the labour market test.
Give the company name, the province and the depot the driver reports to, and say whether the work is distribution, national or international.
State the vehicle type and licence category, the code 95 position, and whether ADR or a tanker endorsement applies.
Say how many drivers you need, what experience you expect and what handling duties the role involves.
Describe the shift pattern honestly, including night work and nights away, and set out pay and scale under the applicable collective agreement.
Confirm the start date, say whether accommodation is offered, and whether you would consider candidates needing a single permit.
Your company sets and honours the final employment terms.
Tell us the role, the province, the licence category and how many drivers you need.
The vacancy goes live in Dutch, English or both, and is promoted to relevant candidates.
Applications arrive directly for your team to assess.
You interview, inspect the original licence and code 95 documents, and confirm the expiry dates.
Your company issues the employment contract under Dutch law and the applicable collective agreement.
Where a single permit is required, the UWV registration period, the IND application and the accommodation information follow. Support can be agreed separately.
Work through these before publishing. Where a permit may follow, the timing of the vacancy registration matters as much as its content.
The Dutch employer is responsible for the following.
Under the Foreign Nationals Employment Act it is the employer that must ensure the required permit is in place before the work begins. The GVVA comes with an accompanying document naming your company and the conditions, so check that the work the driver actually does matches what the permit allows.
FastDriver.eu does not issue any government approval.
FastDriver.eu cannot guarantee applications, candidate availability, candidate suitability, interview attendance, hiring outcomes, licence recognition, work permits, residence permits, visas, processing times or continued employment.
Misleading vacancy content may be removed from the platform.

A specialised driver job portal used across Europe. Dutch employers publish driver vacancies and receive applications directly from candidates.
No. It is a job portal, not a staffing or temporary employment agency, and it does not lease workers. Your company employs the driver directly.
Legally operating transport and logistics companies, hauliers, forwarders, fleet operators, concession holders in passenger transport, delivery and courier businesses.
Yes. Dutch reaches the domestic market effectively, and an English version broadens its reach, which is common in port and distribution work.
Always specify. Dutch drivers treat multi-drop distribution and international trunking as different jobs, and naming the right one filters out most mismatched applications.
Yes. EU and EEA citizens and Swiss nationals have free access to the Dutch labour market. Licence and code 95 requirements still apply.
International drivers can find and apply for Dutch vacancies. Employment depends on a single permit and on the driver holding a licence and qualification valid for use in the Netherlands.
The single permit combines residence and work authorisation for employment beyond ninety days. The IND issues it on the advice of UWV, and the driver receives a residence card plus a document naming the employer and the conditions.
Before the application, not during it. The vacancy must have been registered with UWV for the statutory minimum period, with documented recruitment efforts in the Netherlands and the EEA, so it starts early.
Yes. You must provide information on the accommodation the driver will stay in, and it must be safe and clean. This matters particularly where an employer houses incoming drivers.
The IND will refuse the single permit. That is why the recruitment effort needs to be genuine and evidenced rather than assembled after the fact.
Yes. Professional drivers in the C and D categories need code 95, with 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years. Check the expiry date at the interview.
Your company does, and Dutch law makes that an employer duty rather than good practice. The platform may assist only with document coordination.
There is no fixed timeline. Allow for the UWV vacancy registration period before you apply, then the IND decision. Employers who start late lose the most time here.
Options depend on the number of vacancies, the promotion level and the support you need. Terms are agreed with your company in advance.
Submit the employer enquiry with your company details and driver requirements, or post the vacancy directly. Your team then reviews the applications and selects the driver.
