Truck and Heavy Goods Drivers
Post vacancies for lastbilchauffør and chauffør with kørekort C or C/E covering national distribution, construction supply and trunking south into Germany.
For Danish Employers
Publish your driver vacancies on FastDriver.eu, reach candidates across the five Danish regions, elsewhere in Europe and in eligible international markets, and manage applications yourself. Where a candidate needs a residence and work permit, we can assist with documentation and relocation coordination under a separate agreement.
Direct employer hiring • Nordic and European reach • Residence and work permit guidance when required
FastDriver.eu connects Danish hauliers, distribution companies, bus operators and last mile businesses with drivers actively looking for work.
Publish a genuine vacancy, state the licence category, describe the routes and the shift pattern, and receive applications directly. Danish drivers expect the pay and the collective agreement position to be visible in the advert. Browse current Danish listings at www.fastdriver.eu/jobs/denmark.
FastDriver.eu is a specialised driver job portal. It is not a recruitment agency or a temporary employment agency, it does not employ drivers and it does not lease workers.
Your company reviews the applications, interviews the candidates, inspects the original licence and qualification documents, and signs the employment contract. The platform gives you reach; the hiring decision remains yours.
Danish employers recruit across freight, distribution and passenger transport. State the licence category, the route type and the shift pattern, and say which collective agreement the role falls under.
Post vacancies for lastbilchauffør and chauffør with kørekort C or C/E covering national distribution, construction supply and trunking south into Germany.
Advertise for buschauffør on regional and municipal networks, flexible transport services, school routes and long distance coach work.
Publish roles for distributionschauffør, varebilchauffør and kurer positions in parcel networks, grocery delivery and urban logistics around Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense.
Advertise taxachauffør and private hire positions, subject to the licensing rules applying to passenger transport in Denmark.
Reach ADR chauffør, tankbilchauffør, container and crane equipped vehicle drivers for fuel distribution, agricultural supply and project cargo.
Use a job title only where it genuinely matches the role. Adding unrelated titles for extra traffic produces applications you will only reject.
Denmark is divided into five regions and ninety eight municipalities. Freight movement concentrates on the corridor running from the German border up through Jutland and across the belts towards Zealand.
The land border with Germany makes southern Jutland the natural base for international haulage, customs handling and Nordic transit traffic.
Aarhus, Esbjerg, Hirtshals and Copenhagen handle container, ro-ro, fishing and offshore related traffic, each generating its own pattern of haulage.
The Triangle area around Kolding, Vejle and Fredericia is the country's central distribution point, with terminals positioned to serve the whole national market.
Food production and agricultural supply generate steady bulk, temperature controlled and livestock transport work across rural Jutland and Funen.
Denmark has five regions, and each has a clear transport character. Naming the region and the municipality helps candidates judge the commute accurately.
Danish drivers search in Danish, and they search by licence letter as often as by job title.
The standard freight term is lastbilchauffør, usually paired with kørekort C or kørekort C/E so that candidates can match themselves to the vehicle.
Distribution work has its own vocabulary. Distributionschauffør signals multi drop delivery with handling, which is different work from long haul, and candidates distinguish between the two.
Passenger roles use buschauffør, while van and courier work appears as varebilchauffør and kurer.
Specialist searches include ADR chauffør and tankbilchauffør, and many candidates also mention chaufføruddannelse or the EU qualification certificate in their profiles.
Publish in Danish for the domestic market, and add an English version when you are open to candidates from elsewhere in Europe. Stating the collective agreement and pay openly is normal practice here and improves response rates.
FastDriver.eu operates as a European driver job portal and allows candidates in other parts of the world to discover and apply for suitable Danish vacancies.
Danish employers may receive applications from drivers based in Denmark, the other Nordic countries, EU and EEA states, Switzerland, the wider European region, Asia, Africa, Gulf countries, North America, Latin America, the Caribbean and other eligible international markets.
Nordic citizens may live and work in Denmark freely. EU and EEA citizens and Swiss nationals also have access to the labour market, subject to registration and to holding valid licence and qualification documents.
For third country nationals a residence and work permit from SIRI is required. Driving roles are not currently covered by the Positive List for Skilled Work, so the realistic routes are the Pay Limit and Supplementary Pay Limit schemes, which turn on salary rather than on occupation.
Three conditions catch employers out. Salary and terms must correspond to Danish standards, the salary must be paid into a Danish bank account in the driver's own name, and the supplementary scheme requires the job to have been advertised on Jobnet and EURES beforehand. Thresholds are revised annually, so check the current figures with SIRI. Drivers can check their own position through our driving licence eligibility guidance.
FastDriver.eu can provide process guidance and document coordination when a candidate needs support. It does not make government decisions and cannot promise an approval.
State the licence category in the advert. It is the first filter Danish candidates apply.
Freight roles use C and C/E, with C1 and C1/E for lighter rigid vehicles. Passenger transport uses D and D1, with D/E and D1/E where a trailer is drawn. Van and courier work sits in category B.
Professional drivers in the C and D categories need the qualification certificate obtained through the chaufføruddannelse, shown as code 95 on the licence or on a driver qualification card, and renewed by periodic training every five years.
A digital tachograph driver card is required for in scope work, and ADR training is required for dangerous goods. Crane and lifting certificates are common additional requirements in construction and agricultural supply.
Where a third country national drives for a Danish operator on international journeys within the Union, a driver attestation may also be needed.
Experience requirements are set by operators. Distribution work usually calls for confidence with handling equipment and customer contact, while long haul roles look for route experience. FastDriver.eu can present candidate information, but verifying original documents remains the employer's responsibility.
Publish driver vacancies in Danish or English with the licence category, route type and collective agreement position set out clearly.
Raise the visibility of roles that are slow to fill, including night distribution and specialist work.
Applications reach your team directly, with no agency between you and the driver.
Support in reaching drivers who match your licence and route requirements, without any promise of a specific candidate.
Guidance on the SIRI permit routes and the documents an application normally involves, including the employer's own part of the form.
Coordination of travel, biometrics, CPR registration and bank account steps when an international candidate is hired.
Employer options can be arranged around single vacancies, seasonal peaks or larger recruitment rounds, and are agreed separately with your company.
Danish drivers expect openness about pay and conditions. Adverts that leave those out get fewer and weaker applications.
Give the company name, the region and municipality, the depot the driver reports to, and whether the work is local, national or international.
State the vehicle type and licence category, the code 95 position, and whether ADR or crane certification applies.
Say how many drivers you need, what experience you expect and what handling duties the role involves.
Describe the shift pattern honestly, including night and weekend work, and state the pay and the collective agreement the role falls under.
Confirm the start date, any language expectation, and whether you would consider candidates who require a residence and work permit.
Your company sets and honours the final employment terms.
Tell us the role, the region, the licence category and how many drivers you need.
The vacancy goes live in Danish, English or both, and is promoted to relevant candidates.
Applications arrive directly for your team to assess.
You interview, inspect the original licence and qualification documents, and confirm experience.
Your company issues the employment contract under Danish law and the applicable collective agreement.
Where a SIRI permit is required, your company completes its part of the application and the arrival, CPR and bank account steps follow. Support can be agreed separately.
Work through these before publishing. In Denmark the pay and agreement details matter as much as the licence requirement.
The Danish employer is responsible for the following.
Both the employer and the employee carry responsibility for ensuring that work is lawful, and SIRI runs spot checks. A permit is tied to the specific job it was granted for, so moving a driver into a different role requires a fresh application rather than an internal transfer.
FastDriver.eu does not issue any government approval.
FastDriver.eu cannot guarantee applications, candidate availability, candidate suitability, interview attendance, hiring outcomes, licence recognition, work permits, residence permits, visas, processing times or continued employment.
Misleading vacancy content may be removed from the platform.
